Do you know who you are?
I have been a wonderful success.
I have been a horrible failure.
I see myself a blessing too many.
I see that by me not one of them is blessed.
There are many who are able to speak well of me.
There are many who are able to speak ill of me.
I think I understand the condition of my nature.
Do you know who you are?
I look into the mirror.
I study my pain.
The deeper I study the more pain I see.
When I try to look away, none of this can help me.
Who are you looking for?
In the mirror
I hope
One day to see
A very small part
Of a poor reflection
Of the only reflection
That is you.
Peace! You are not who you have been thus far,
Neither are you, who you think you to be,
Nor are you who others hear and or see.
You are all of who I speak that you are.
