A Tale of Two Sisters

Ann came out to bible study.

Missy stayed at home.

Missy called Ann a “Busy Body”

When Missy got on the phone.

Missy stayed home for Tuesday night prayer,

Ann was there every week.

Ann was real sweet to folk everywhere.

Missy could barely speak.

Ann thanked God for what she had,

But Missy complained for more.

Ann blessed those that had it bad,

But Missy locked up her door.

Then it was time for blessings to come

And Ann received from her master.

Missy couldn’t make the devil run

And put the blame on her pastor.

Now imagine if you will

A clear mirror in your hand,

Who is it that you are seeing,

Sister Missy or Sister Ann?
